28.08.2007· I Have a 1/2 horsepower pump hooked to a 2 inch well. The water coming out looks to be about 3 gallons a minute. My neighbor has the same 2 inch well but with a 3/4 horse pump and his water volume puts mine to shame. I have a hard time even watering the lawn. Our pumps out here are jet pumps converted to deepwell to reach the 32 foot deep water table.
